Sherwood Church to host 'Wonder' Christmas concert

Dec. 7—ALBANY — Sherwood Worship Choir and Orchestra will present a festive concert called "Wonder" Saturday and Sunday. Optional family activities such as a live nativity, crafts and games begin at 4 p.m., and an interactive pre-show and seating will precede the musical performance at 5:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

"'Wonder' is an event for the whole family," Sherwood Worship Pastor Seth Brasher said in a news release. "At Sherwood, we are family, and we are delighted to provide this opportunity for our community to enjoy a family-friendly evening — making memories and celebrating the wonder of Christmas. There will be something for everyone: a live nativity, games, crafts, a digital photo booth, and more.

"We will finish the evening with sounds of Christmas performed by our worship choir and a full orchestra. If you've never been to our campus before, we would love to meet you and want you to feel welcome to join us for this evening of Christmas cheer."

Sherwood Church is located in Albany at 2201 Whispering Pines Road. For more information on the Wonder event and concert, visit SherwoodBaptist.net/wonder or contact Brasher at (229) 883-1910 or SethB@SherwodBaptist.net.
