Severe weather in SC: Anderson County under tornado watch

Anderson County is under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. along with Greenville, Pickens and Spartanburg counties.

According to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, this is part of a weak low-pressure system, raising the possibility of flash flooding and severe thunderstorms. The storms are expected to end by late evening.

A tornado warning was issued earlier on Monday for Anderson County until 5:00 p.m.

This is a developing story.
