Seven Tennessee student-athletes set personal best marks at Clemson

Seven Tennessee student-athletes achieved personal best marks in their respective events at the Bob Pollack Invitational at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex Friday.

In the women’s 60-meter dash, Jacious Sears was victorious with a time of 7.17 seconds, her best career mark in the event.

Redshirt freshman Chandler Hayden finished fourth in the weight throw with a career mark of 21.39 meters (70 feet, 2.25 inches).

In the 400-meter run, freshman Javonya Valcourt recorded a career-best time for a third consecutive week (53.67).

In the women’s pole vault, sophomore Sarah Schmitt set a personal best effort of 3.81 meters (12-6).

Redshirt junior Emmanuel Bynam finished the 400-meter run in 46.05 seconds, recording the second best indoor mark in the NCAA this season.

Jakwan Hale also set his best career finish in the event with a time of 47.93.

T’Mars McCallum recorded a career best time in the 60-meter dash (6.74).
