Senior Salute honors class of 2021

May 9—During halftime, in an exhibit, on stage or on the sidelines, so many students shine their senior year of high school. In our new occasional feature, we honor those dedicated seniors who perform, create, cheer and volunteer their hearts out.

Danielle Lamberti

Danielle Lamberti has captained the football cheerleading squad this year at Lackawanna Trail Junior-Senior High School, where she also belongs to the National Honor Society, Interact Club, Spanish Honor Society, Ski Club, Envirothon Club and band. She has participated in basketball cheerleading and track, too, and will attend Misericordia University to study nursing.

Emma Yusavage

Emma Yusavage is the senior class vice president, student council vice president, National Honor Society vice president, editor in chief of the yearbook and school board student representative at Mid Valley Secondary Center. She is a six-year Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competitor and participates in other clubs and activities, too. Emma will attend Penn State University to major in biochemisty/chemistry and plans to become a doctor of emergency medicine.
