Auburn men's basketball defeated the Kentucky Wildcats 80-71 on Saturday.

Walker Kessler led Auburn with 19 points and seven rebounds in the victory. K.D. Johnson added 17 points and four rebounds.

Kentucky got 17 points from both Sahvir Wheeler and Kellen Grady.

Auburn, ranked No. 2 in the Ferris Mowers Men's Basketball Coaches Poll powered by USA Today Sports, improved to 18-1 overall and 7-0 in the SEC. No. 12-ranked Kentucky went to 15-4 overall and 5-2 in the SEC.
