National Weather Service cancels severe weather watches, rain expected to continue overnight

The severe weather watches have been canceled by the National Weather Service.

Warm and muggy tonight, showers and storms are possible overnight. Storms could produce gusty winds, some pockets of heavy rain, and lightning.

Sunday will be warm and humid but not as hot. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s around lunchtime. A cold front will bring the chance for scattered showers and storms late morning into the early afternoon. Once the front passes Sunday afternoon, temperatures will fall to the low 60s by dinnertime. Look for cooler and more comfortable conditions for the start of the work week.
