Two decades later, she hasn’t forgotten.

Sarah Michelle Gellar celebrated her 20th anniversary with Freddie Prinze Jr. on Thursday and also used her since-expired Instagram Story to stick it to Howard Stern, who in 2001, doubted the couple and former co-stars were in it for the long haul.

“@Sternshow what do you think?,” the “Cruel Intentions” and Emmy-winning “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star, 45, captioned screen grabs of the 68-year-old radio host baiting her then-fiancé: “So you will marry Sarah Michelle Gellar even though you know that it won’t last.”

“Oh, absolutely it will last!” Prinze, 46, responded.

Gellar also pointed out that Stern told Prinze that he’d “be a completely different man” by the time he was 35.

“And she will be a completely different woman, but that’s alright,” retorted Prinze.

“I wanna make a written bet with you: In about 10 years you’re gonna hunt me down and go, ‘Howard, I owe you money.’”

“@Sternshow I think you owe us,” native Gellar captioned the Story.

Gellar and Prinze, who co-starred in both “Scooby-Doo” films as well as “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” tied the knot in September 2002 and together share daughter Charlotte and son Rocky.
