Sandia Area Federal Credit Union names new CFO

Feb. 3—Sandia Area Federal Credit Union on Tuesday announced that Robert Nagaki will be its new chief financial officer.

Nagaki replaces former CFO Kevin Todd, who was appointed CEO last year, according to a news release.

In a statement, Nagaki said, "I'm excited to be a part of the Sandia Area team. I look forward to taking on new responsibilities and continuing to support the credit union movement."

Nagaki brings 14 years of experience in the financial and credit union industries, according to the news release. He previously worked at Kirtland Federal Credit Union as treasury and ALM officer, according to his LinkedIn.

He has a master's degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management as well as a chartered financial analyst certification.

The news of Nagaki's appointment comes as the credit union plans to convert a 48,000-square-foot building near the Journal Center in northeast Albuquerque into its new operations center.
