Happy anniversary, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip!

The couple is celebrating 72 years of marriage on Wednesday, November 20, but they're spending the milestone day 110 miles apart: Philip, 98, is spending the day at the Sandringham, Norfolk estate, while the Queen, 93, will be in London, where she is based for her working week, People's Simon Perry reported. Philip famously retired from public duties in August 2017.

While they weren't able to spend their 72nd wedding anniversary together, the couple certainly felt the love from the rest of the royal family on their special day. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William and others took to Instagram to commemorate their anniversary with special messages and throwback photos.

"Happy anniversary to Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh!" Harry and Meghan's Sussex Royal account said. "On this day, seventy-two years ago, they were married at Westminster Abbey. Many congratulations!"

"Wishing Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh a very happy 72nd Wedding Anniversary!" Kate and William's Kensington Royal Instagram account wrote beneath an older and a newer photo of the couple.

The official Royal Family Instagram account also honored the couple's big day, shared a photo from their 1947 wedding day in addition to a more recent photo of them together.

"Happy 72nd Wedding Anniversary to The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, who were married on this day in Westminster Abbey," the caption read.

Queen Elizabeth got married on November 20, 1947 at Westminster Abbey.
