Alabama football quarterback Bryce Young once again led the Crimson Tide offense to a strong showing. This time, it was against the Auburn Tigers in the 2022 Iron Bowl, which took place in Tuscaloosa to close out the regular season.

Despite uncertainty regarding this team’s postseason plans, Young performed at an extremely high level. He completed 20 of his 30 passing attempts for 343 yards, three touchdowns and a single interception, his fifth of the season. He also managed to utilize his legs to pick up 48 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

This was likely Young’s final game in Bryant-Denny Stadium, as he is expected to forgo remaining eligibility for the 2023 NFL draft. There’s an ongoing discussion as to whether or not Young would play in a bowl game that isn’t a part of the College Football Playoffs to avoid a possible risk of injury right before the draft.

Should that be the case, this would be Young’s final game as an active member of the Crimson Tide.
