Roaches, flies found at Fort Worth restaurants during inspections

No Fort Worth restaurants were shut down or given citations in health inspections conducted from May 8 to May 14, but two did have pests including roaches, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill at 1505 S. University Drive had roaches and flies in the building when inspectors visited, and Rice Xpress at 3767 Altamesa Blvd. had a roach in the women’s restroom.

Rice Xpress was also warned that if it cannot follow proper food storage standards it will receive a citation.

No restaurants received perfect scores.
