Come on, Finn.

John Boyega admitted Wednesday that his slip-up is to blame for a leaked "Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker" script that briefly appeared on eBay. The top-secret document was quickly re-claimed by the production team before it could be successfully sold to a random buyer.

"I was moving apartments and I left the script under my bed. I was just like, you know what, I'll leave it under my bed," Boyega, who stars in the hotly-anticipated film, said on "Good Morning America." "When I wake up in the morning I'll take it and move. But my boys came over and, you know, we started partying a little bit and then the script just, it just stayed there."

After Boyega left the apartment, "a cleaner comes in, finds the script and then puts it on eBay for like 65 pounds," he explained. "So the person didn't know the true value."

The account is consistent with J.J. Abrams' own: The director didn't identify which of his actors was responsible for the near-disaster. "One of our actors, I won't say wish one — I want to, but I won't — left it under their bed and it was found by someone who was cleaning their place," he said a few days before Boyega owned up to the incident.

Indeed, the closely-guarded secrets of a "Star Wars" script would have sold for a major chunk of change — and, if made public, would have derailed fan expectations and excitement. Boyega revealed even he doesn't know yet how the film ends.

The actors filmed several different possible endings, he explained. "I'm curious. I think I watch the movie next week for the first time."

"The Rise of Skywalker," which concludes the current trilogy and wraps up nine total films in the defining three-part arc of the "Star Wars" franchise, will be released on Dec. 18.
