Ring doorbell footage raises 'alien abduction' theories: 'I can't talk about it'
A newly released Ring doorbell camera video shows a curious scene in which a man appears to have been "abducted" by aliens.
In the footage, a homeowner is seen leaving his front door and walking out towards his driveway. But, when he is almost outside of camera's view, he seemingly shoots up into the sky.
The bizarre footage raises a lot of questions debating over what really happened — particularly about whether it was edited.
Houston native Larry Lewis, the man in the video, told Inside Edition that he thought the clip was hilarious.
"I made sure I had to be back 'home' for dinner," Lewis joked. When asked where he actually went, Lewis laughed and replied, "I can't talk about it right now."
All joking aside, Lewis blames the mystery on a technical glitch with the camera. He believes the camera stopped filming right at the moment he was out of frame, so it looked like he disappeared.
"I think it got caught up in the recording," Lewis told Inside Edition.
