What restaurants are open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?
Not in the mood to spend this holiday in the kitchen?
No worries. There are a number of restaurants in Okaloosa and Walton counties serving meals on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
From traditional meals like prime rib to less conventional Christmas fare such as French toast, there are lots of dining options for families who want someone else to take dinner prep off their plate.
Here are some of the restaurants open Friday and Saturday:

Fish Out of Water at Watercolor
The Fish Out of Water restaurant at WaterColor Inn in Santa Rosa Beach is offering a Christmas Eve dinner from 5-9 p.m. In addition to live music, there will be a la carte dining, a children’s menu, and chef features including Brie Crostini with Duck Confit and balsamic cranberry jam and winter salad, and a Christmas dinner of prime rib, Boursin mashed potatoes, fried Brussel sprouts with warm bacon vinaigrette and toasted almonds, demi-grace and horseradish cream served with Yorkshire pudding.

Havana Beach Bar & Grill at The Pearl Hotel
Enjoy a three-course meal for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner at The Pearl Hotel’s Havana Beach Bar & Grill on Dec. 24, seating times from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., and Dec. 25 from noon-7 p.m. The prix fixe menu is $95 per dining guest. An a la carte children’s menu is available for children 12 and under. Price includes non-alcoholic beverages with alcoholic beverages available for purchase at an additional fee.

The Boathouse Landing
Have Christmas Eve on Boggy Bayou from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 24 at
124 S. John Sims Parkway in Valparaiso. Serving the regular lunch and dinner menu with chef specials.

Doc's Oyster Bar & Grill
Doc's Oyster Bar's kitchen closes at 2 p.m. Christmas Eve. It will be closed Christmas Day.
Fat Boys Destin and Miramar Beach
Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Christmas Eve.

DESTIN
Grande Vista
Located inside the Emerald Grande Resort, the Grande Vista will serve a special Christmas Day brunch featuring dishes such as crab cake Benedict, stuffed French toast, a fried green tomato BLT and several other options. Be sure to check out the harbor views from the Captain’s Deck while there.
Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Company
Holiday favorites Dec. 25 at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, 14059 Emerald Coast Parkway, will include Forrest’s Surf & Turf with 10-ounce boneless ribeye, grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli; Jenny’s Surf & Surf with flame-grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, herb butter, lobster butter sauce, steamed rice and broccoli; and Shrimp Shack Mac & Cheese with shrimp, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, elbow pasta and parmesan topping.
Holiday hours are 1-6 p.m. Sat. Dec. 25; 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31; and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1.
