Jul. 4—Franck Margerie is the new operator of Arable at the Agora Center in Eldorado. Arable founder Renée Fox sold the restaurant and stepped away June 25.

----Liu Liu Liu, 1722 St. Michael's Drive, Suite F, announced a permanent closure June 21 after posting a temporary closure April 27 for equipment upgrades with intentions to reopen in June. Liu Liu Liu opened in February 2021 in the St. Michael's Drive Shopping Center in the same building as Pizzeria Espiritu — but never put up a sign. Owners Cameron Markham and Elizabeth Blankstein also opened Blood Sausage in Albuquerque in March and it, too, has closed.

----Back Road Pizza 1807 2nd St., Suite 1, started serving dinner on Tuesdays from 4 to 8 p.m.. Back Road Pizza is normally closed on Monday and has been closed on Tuesdays since January because of staffing shortages. Owner Piper Kapin said Tuesday lunch will be brought back as staffing allows. Back Road Pizza also brought back eight local beers on tap in May.
