The Los Angeles Rams and quarterback Jared Goff agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension, the team announced on Tuesday via Twitter.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Goff’s new contract totals $134 million and a record $110 million guaranteed, which is the most money ever guaranteed to a player in a single contract.

The deal ties Goff, the No. 1 pick in the 2016 draft, to the Rams through the 2024 season.

It also ties Goff to head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead: McVay and Snead signed contract extensions through 2023 last month, and it was Snead who drafted Goff in 2016, when Jeff Fisher was still coach of the Rams.

The 24-year-old Goff has flourished under McVay and was named a Pro Bowler each of the past two years, as the Rams went 24-7 with him as the starter and advanced to Super Bowl LIII in February.

Over the past two seasons, Goff completed 63.6 percent of his passes with 60 touchdowns against 19 interceptions.
