Mark your calendars, Musketeer fans.

Xavier University's men's basketball team will host Indiana on Nov. 18 in the 2022 Gavitt Tipoff Games, an annual event that features the Big East Conference against the Big Ten Conference.

Xavier and Indiana haven't played since 2007 in the Chicago Challenge when Indiana was ranked No. 8 in the country and the Musketeers secured an 80-65 win. At the time, Sean Miller was Xavier's head coach and Dante Jackson, now an assistant under Miller, was a freshman.

Xavier hasn't hosted Indiana since 1939 at Schmidt Fieldhouse.

Xavier hosted Ohio State last season in the Gavitt Games and beat the Buckeyes. The Musketeers are 3-1 in the Gavitt Games.

The addition of Indiana gives Xavier another high-major opponent on its non-conference schedule, one that already includes West Virginia in the Big East-Big 12 Battle, Cincinnati in the Crosstown Shootout, and the PK85 Invitational multi-team event in Portland, Oregon, against a field that includes Gonzaga, Duke, Florida, Oregon State, Portland State, Purdue and West Virginia.
