Report: NBA looking at Orlando/Disney World as 'clear frontrunner' to resume season
If the NBA regular season resumes in 2020, the league may have already decided where games will be played. The NBA reportedly views Orlando/Disney World as a “clear frontrunner” to host games if the NBA comes back this year, according to Shams Charania and Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The NBA is reportedly considering a bubble-isolation plan, where players would gather in one place to play games. NBA commissioner Adam Silver has referred to the idea as a “campus environment.”
The league has considered other sites for a campus, including Las Vegas, but it appears Orlando is the preferred choice at the moment.
NBA teams have already played over 60 games each, meaning the league would only need a few weeks to finish out the regular season. The NBA could also forgo the rest of the regular season and jump directly to the playoffs, though that wouldn’t include every team unless the league got creative.
A number of prominent NBA players — including LeBron James and Chris Paul — have expressed a desire to resume the season.
The league and its players still need to work out an agreement to continue games. Settling on a playing site would be a significant step forward in those discussions.
