Report: Mario Cristobal still ‘weighing options’ between Miami and Oregon

The drama continues for Mario Cristobal as the current Oregon Ducks head coach decides whether or not he is going to stay put in Eugene or jump to Miami to join his alma mater Hurricanes.
If you ask people in Miami, the deal might as well be done to make Cristobal the next head coach. If you ask people in Eugene, Cristobal is still weighing his options and heavily considering a contract extension with Oregon that would secure him with the Ducks for years to come.
Regardless of who you believe, it is clear that nothing is official as of yet, and all the reports are still just conjecture.

As we wait for a final word, it’s smart to be prepared for either situation happening. Any Oregon fan who is denying the fact that Cristobal could seriously leave in the next 24-48 hours should start to come to the grips with the fact that they might need a new head coach soon. On the flip side, Miami fans who are already celebrating their new hire should wait a beat before popping more champagne.
