The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came into the 2023 offseason with a long list of big questions, and now that Tom Brady is retiring for good, their biggest concern comes at the game’s most important position.
Kye Trask is the only quarterback currently under contract in Tampa Bay for the 2023 season, as veteran backup Blaine Gabbert is set to be a free agent. Will the Bucs finally hand the reins to their 2021 second-round draft pick after he spent the last two years holding a clipboard, or will they look for a better solution elsewhere?

My first choice would be Carr, but I don’t see how we could manage that with our cap.

Tough. I don't think any of the possible free agents or trade options are viable. None of the known names with big contracts or seeking to be paid have the ability to win a SB trophy. Probably take a swing in the draft, see if someone falls and/or trade up a few spots.
