Relay kicking off mini-events

Apr. 16—LAURINBURG — Relay for Life is kicking off with a "Call to Action" this weekend

Due to COVID-19 and gathering restrictions Relay is having the first series of mini-events this year and is asking people to capture their first lap for the 2021 Relay for Life from Friday to Sunday.

Record a video on your phone of yourself or your small group walking and send it to [email protected] and post them to the Relay for Life of Scotland County Facebook page. The clips will be put together and published on Facebook and YouTube in early May.

Other mini-events will be announced throughout the year.

Up-coming events:

— On May 15, join the National Relay for Life virtually. All information will be available on Facebook prior to the event.

— In the fall join Relay for Life in person to celebrate the 2021 event and gear up for the 2022 live event.
