Receiving and rushing standouts: Vote for The Tennessean's boys athlete of the week

Vote now for The Tennessean's high school boys athlete of the week.

Fans may vote one time per hour. The poll ends at 12 p.m. on Thursday.

A.J. Barbat, Brentwood Academy: Barat had 13 total tackles with two for loss. He also had two sacks, forced a fumble and returned an interception 38 yards in a 45-9 win over Christian Brothers.

Kaleb Beasley, Lipscomb Academy: Beasley had two defensive TDs in a 58-6 rout of Davidson Academy. He returned an interception for a TD and picked up a fumble and return it for another TD.

Jevon Edmondson, Overton: Edmondson had 27 carries for 249 yards and a touchdown in a 33-22 win over McGavock.

Jaron Elkins, Goodpasture: Elkins had nine carries for 225 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-13 win over BGA.

Frank Gordon, East Nashville: Gordon caught four passes for 144 yards and four touchdowns in a 53-21 win over Green Hill.

London Humphreys, CPA: The Vanderbilt commitment had 10 catches for 276 yards and four TDs in a 39-38 loss to FRA.

Ashton Jones, DCA: Jones had 311 yards and four TDs on 22 carries in a 47-6 rout of Clarksville Academy.

Jahiem Merriweather, Gallatin: Merriweather had 162 yards and three TDs on 10 carries in a 42-7 win over Rossview.

Javarian Otey, Stewarts Creek: Otey had 17 carries for 189 yards and three TDs and also caught a 21-yard TD pass in a 42-7 win over Rockvale.

Carter Pace, Ravenwood: Pace had 32 carries for 186 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-7 win over Summit.
