Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow completed his first nine attempts of Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Paul Brown Stadium in addition to his first-quarter rushing touchdown.
Burrow's seventh completion was a 32-yard pass to Tee Higgins in the end zone to finish a six-play, 75-yard drive and give the Bengals a 17-3 lead early in the second quarter of their 41-10 rout of the Steelers.
The Steelers argued for offensive pass interference, but CBS color analyst Trent Green insisted that "there was no push-off" by Higgins on Pittsburgh cornerback James Pierre, who got the start in place of the injured Joe Haden.
It was Higgins' third touchdown catch of the season, and Burrow's 22nd TD pass.
Later in the game, Higgins eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the third time in his two NFL seasons.
Social media reactions:
Yesterday, I went back and watched the highlights from some old Bengals vs. Steelers games. In the games the Bengals won, there was usually some incredible, important catch by A.J. Green.
That TD catch by Tee Higgins looked like that type of catch.— Charlie Goldsmith (@CharlieG__) November 28, 2021

Joe Burrow's started 7/7 passing. He has one touchdown through the air and another on the ground. Impressive start for the QB. https://t.co/LRbDDfu4ad

That was a monster catch by Tee Higgins who's been relatively quiet of late. Bengals now lead 17-3

The Bengals increased their lead to 24-3 on Joe Mixon's touchdown run later in the first half. And Mike Hilton's interception return for a touchdown shortly after Burrow was dumped to the ground by Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt gave Cincinnati a 31-3 lead just before halftime
