Reactions: Sean Miller returns as Xavier Musketeers head coach after 12 seasons at Arizona
Sean Miller, Arizona's head coach for 12 seasons before the school fired him last April, is returning to the Xavier Musketeers, the team he coached from 2001 to 2004 as an assistant and 2004 to 2009 as head coach.
The Enquirer's Adam Baum confirmed the news, adding that Miller was Xavier's top choice once it decided to part ways with Travis Steele on Wednesday.

Sean Miller was 120-47 in five years at Xavier, including four trips to the NCAA Tournament as well as trips to the Elite Eight and Sweet 16. That was in the Atlantic 10.

The answer was always Sean Miller. Xavier went out and got their guy. What a day for the program and the university.
This hire immediately puts the rest of the Big East, and quite honestly, the country, on notice.— Paul Fritschner (@PaulFritschner) March 19, 2022
Breaking: Sean Miller is back at Xavier. Sources confirm to me the Musketeers and Miller have reached an agreement for him to return as the head coach of the program. A mammoth hire by Greg Christopher and company in Cincinnati.

Sean Miller is headed back to Xavier as head coach, per multiple reports. Guy isn't perfect, but he's also innocent of many things he's been accused of publicly. He's also a hell of a coach. Happy to see him get a second chance.

Breaking—Sean Miller will once again be Xavier’s coach, a source confirms to CBS Sports. Miller also had a standing offer from South Carolina but turned it down. Two big factors in decision: Familiarity w/ Xavier, plus allure of coaching in Big East.

Sean Miller declining state school money to return to Xavier speaks volumes about how much he wants to be back in the Queen City.

I've been told Sean Miller will not be at the game tomorrow when Xavier hosts Florida in the second round of the NIT.
Jonas Hayes will continue to coach the team for the remainder of the NIT.
Miller's introductory press conference is TBD (could be sometime next week).— Adam Baum (@AdamJBaum) March 20, 2022
