On Wednesday, Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for NFL Week 12. It's Mixon’s second career AFC Player of the Week award.

Later in the day, Mixon earned FedEx Ground Player of the Week honors for the third time this season:

Mixon didn't play most of the fourth quarter during Sunday's 41-10 rout of the Pittsburgh Steelers at Paul Brown Stadium but still managed to rush for a career-best 165 yards on 28 carries with two touchdowns despite watching much of the second half from the sideline.

Mixon's previous personal record for rushing yards in a game was 162 against the Cleveland Browns in Dec. 2019.
