A few months after Sioux Falls Washington ended Watertown High School's 2022-23 boys basketball season with an overtime win in the Class AA SoDak 16, Dylon Rawdon and the Arrows gained some revenge.

Rawdon capped a 23-point night by banking in a 3-pointer with under three seconds left to lift the Arrows a 57-54 victory over the Warriors on Friday night in the Watertown Civic Arena.

The shot capped an entertaining game that went back-and-forth throughout. Watertown led 16-12 after one quarter. Washington led 30-25 at halftime and 44-38 after three quarters.

The lead was still six (46-40) with under five minutes remaining when the Arrows got a field goal from Caden Beauchamp and a 3-pointer by Kohen Kranz to get within.

Rawdon took over from there. He hit a 3-pointer with 2:39 left and was fouled. He missed the free throw that would have tied the game at 50, but drained another 3 with 55 seconds to put Watertown ahead 52-50. He added a steal and layup 22 seconds to make it 54-50. Field goals by Mandalla Mohamed with 24 seconds left and AJ Akot with 10 seconds helped Washington pull even again.
