Raptors sign undrafted guard Terence Davis to two-year contract

The Raptors’ roster makeover in the post-Kawhi era continued late Sunday night with the addition of undrafted guard Terence Davis.

The former Ole Miss star has reportedly signed a two-year contract with Toronto, with year one fully guaranteed, according to Shams Charania. He had reportedly turned down two-way deals with other clubs following the NBA Draft back in June.

David spent all four years of college at Ole Miss, scoring 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his senior season. He’s currently playing with the Denver Nuggets’ summer league team in Las Vegas, where he scored 22 points and showcased his range, going 5-7 from beyond the arc in his first game.

The Raptors have been busy since Kawhi’s departure, signing Stanley Johnson, Rondae Hollie-Jefferson and three-point specialist Matt Thomas to short-term contracts. With Davis signed for at least the 2019-20 season, the Raptors currently have 11 players signed for next year. Toronto also has four other players on non-guaranteed contracts or two-way deals.
