Raptors' Lowry returns to game vs. Suns after taking elbow to eye
In a season riddled with injuries, the Toronto Raptors received another scare Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns.
Raptors star Kyle Lowry left the game after colliding awkwardly with teammate Terence Davis. Lowry stayed down on the floor, was taken to the locker room with a towel and then briefly returned to the floor. After taking a shot during a break in play, Lowry then returned to the locker room but the Raptors did not rule him out.

Following his second stint in the locker room, Lowry returned to the game during the second quarter without further incident.
It would be a devastating loss for the Raptors if Lowry missed any time during this stretch, as he’s paramount to the team’s hopes of defending the title and securing the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, with the Milwaukee Bucks running away with the No. 1 spot.
Lowry earned the sixth consecutive All-Star selection of his career this year, averaging 19.2 points, 7.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 41.2 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from three.
