Ralph Engelstad Arena to hold COVID testing event for U.S. Hall of Fame Game

Oct. 18—The Ralph Engelstad Arena will host two days of free COVID-19 testing for people who are attending the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game in Nashville, Tenn.

The REA is partnering with Grand Forks Public Health in offering the tests. Testing will consist of rapid antigen tests, which meet Bridgestone Arena's criteria for entry into the Saturday, Oct. 30, game.

The testing events will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 7 a.m.-7p.m. Tests will be administered inside the main entrance and lobby. Tests will also be available on Thursday, Oct. 28, at the same time and location.

People participating in the events are required to pre-register at https://testreg.nd.gov/, unless already registered for North Dakota public health COVID-19 testing.

Parking for the free testing events will be in the north lot at the REA, and people must use the main entrance. Proof of health insurance is not required. Masks are required to be worn in the main lobby for the testing event.

Rapid antigen testing will also be available in Nashville on Friday, Oct. 29, and Saturday, Oct. 30, for $50 per test. Further information for the Nashville testing will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 20.

REA administrators are asking people from outside Grand Forks to begin testing in their own communities, if possible, beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
