Prince Harry, Meghan Markle are being called out for their latest Instagram post
Even the royal family is not immune to typos.
Following a sweet montage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's work to mark International Day of the Girl, the couple took to Instagram on Monday to share a quote from celebrated poet Maya Angelou on female empowerment. While many Instagram fans took the opportunity to commend the royal couple for their powerful message, others were quick to call out a typo in the first line of the quote.
"Each time a women stands up for herself without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women," the post read.
The "women" the quote refers to the first time should read woman.
"I love this! But it’s 'WOMAN' 😫" commented one follower. "A lovely sentiment but dreadful spelling & grammar 😬" said another.
The parents to Archie frequently speak out about female empowerment and the strength of women and took their most recent tour of Africa to do so.
"As I’ve said before, I firmly believe that all women have a voice, they just need to feel empowered to use it, and people need to feel encouraged to listen," Markle said in a speech during her 10-day tour. "There is a role for all of us here. As women we can listen to one another, and lift each other up; we can raise our boys to be men who value women. And for men and boys, you can lead by example and not let your mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, and girlfriends ever feel that they are lesser than you."
