PREP ROUNDUP: Tornadoes take easy 88-49 win over Marlins

PANAMA CITY BEACH — The Bay High boys basketball team cruised to an 88-49 victory over Arnold on Tuesday night, with sophomore forward Deondrian Washington leading the Tornadoes (2-2) with 26 points.

Timmy Brown also had 16 points for Bay, followed by Jeremiah Wells with nine points and Jeremiah Banks with seven points.

Alex Steen led the Marlins (0-4) with 14 points, while Jordan White added 13 points, and Jamarcus Richardson nine points.

Bay will next play host to Pensacola on Saturday. Arnold will host North Bay Haven on Saturday.

Bozeman 81, Rocky Bayou Christian 49

SAND HILLS — Joe Carpenter led the Bucks (2-0) with 25 points, followed by Josh CArpenter with 13 points, and Noa McClelland and Ryder Moulder with 11 points each.

Lewis Lowder also scored nine points. Bozeman hosts Wakulla Christian School on Thursday.

Girls basketball

Bozeman 30, Rocky Bayou Christian 25

SAND HILLS — Krista Pierce led the Bucks (3-1) with 11 points and Makenzi Jones added 10 points. Katie Brown had five points.

Bozeman will play at South Walton on Thursday.

Rutherford 81, Sneads 12

SNEADS — The Rams moved to 4-0 on the season with the win, with Braniya Baker scoring 22 points with six assists and six steals and Nautica Bouie adding 20 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

Ava Butler scored 14 points and Jhishae Baker had nine points. Rutherford will next play at Marianna on Thursday.

North Bay Haven 39, Liberty County 33

BRISTOL — Kaylee Goodpaster had 11 points and 10 steals to lead the Buccaneers (2-3), followed by Aleena Khan with nine points, and Makaela Dawson with seven points.

North Bay Haven will next play host to Walton on Thursday. Liberty County (1-1) will be home for Bethlehem on Thursday.

Boys soccer

Arnold 7, North Bay Haven 0

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Zach Gunning scored three goals to lead the Marlins (5-0-1) to the win, with Braden Masker and Giovanni Defelice each adding a goal and an assist.

Edwin Lopez and Krieg Conrad each scored a goal and Ben Lebdaoui provided two assists. Gavin Chester also had an assist. Joe DeLuna led the Buccaneers (2-2) with 15 saves.
