GIRLS SOCCER

Smithville 10, Firestone 1

Tessa Daniels scored four times and Natalie Cox added three as the Smithies rolled over Firestone. Claire Haas, Kaylie Holmes and Shayna Lowe each had a goal as well and Daniels, Haas and Maddie Brillhart had two assists each in the win.

GIRLS TENNIS

West Holmes 3, Zanesville 2

Arora Chaney (6-0, 6-1, first singles), Cuylee Troyer (6-2, 7-6, second singles) and the pairing of Genna Miller and Kara Wade (7-5, 6-0, second doubles) propelled West Holmes to a narrow win over Zanesville.

Hoover 5, Wooster 0

Hoover was too much for Wooster, winning every match in straight sets over the Generals.

BOYS GOLF

Triway 190, Orrville 212

Triway improved to 3-1 as Tyler Snyder and Isaac Moorman played well. Snyder shot a 41 and Moorman carded a 45.

Hiland 161, Strasburg 181

Jack Mast shot a 39 and Lucas Yoder and Nathan Kline each carded 40s to lead Hiland past Strasburg. Monty Coblentz also pitched in with a 42.
