LYNN HAVEN — Chris Bibbs and Taber Brown each scored 17 points to lead the North Bay Haven boys basketball team to a 71-53 home victory over Walton on Thursday night.

The Buccaneers (2-0) outscored the Braves 30-12 in the first quarter and took a 26-point lead into the halftime break. Darwin Torres added 13 points for North Bay Haven, with Airon Kilgore scoring seven points.

Armand Holmes led Walton with 19 points, followed by Demarquiae Goode with nine points and Troy Glenn with eight points.

North Bay Haven was scheduled to play at Bethlehem on Friday night.

Bozeman 75, Wakulla Christian School 19

SAND HILLS — The Bucks improved to 3-0 on the season with the win. Joe Carpenter was the top scorer for Bozeman with 19 points, followed by Blake Fountain with 12 points, Josh Carpenter with eight points, and Dawson Eaton with seven points.

The Bucks will next play host to Bethlehem on Monday.

Arnold 65, Destin 46

DESTIN — Alex Steen scored 29 points to lead the Marlins (1-3) to their first win this season, with Jamarcus Richardson adding 18 points.

Arnold is next scheduled to host North Bay Haven on Saturday night.

Girls basketball

Rutherford 66, Marianna 37

MARIANNA — Braniya Baker scored 26 points and Ava Butler added 21 points to lead the Rams (5-0) to their fifth straight victory to start the season.

Nautica Bouie also had 13 points. Angel Curry led the Bulldogs (1-4) with 14 points. Rutherford was scheduled to host South Walton on Friday night, while Marianna is set to play at Ponce de Leon on Monday.

Choctaw 58, Mosley 44

FORT WALTON BEACH — Mandi Grontas scored 19 points to lead Mosley (1-3), with Guissell Puerto adding 17 points. Marissa Brown was the top scorer for the Indians (3-2) with 21 points, followed by Anissia Luton with 14 points.

The Dolphins will next play at Crestview on Monday.

North Bay Haven 32, Walton 21

LYNN HAVEN — Kaylee Goodpaster had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Buccaneers (2-3) to the win, while Aleena Khan added seven points and nine rebounds.

North Bay Haven was next scheduled to play at Bethlehem on Friday night.

Boys soccer

Arnold 7, Navarre 1

NAVARRE — Braden Masker scored five goals to lead the Marlins (6-0-1) to the win, with Zach Gunning adding two goals. Edwin Lopez, Stone Hatton, Titus Conrad, and Gavin Chester all provided assists.

Arnold will next host Fort Walton Beach on Thursday.
