Strom Thurmond broke through for two scores in the third quarter to win a defensive battle over North Augusta.
Dallas Hitt recovered a Michael Blocker fumble in the end zone for the Rebels' first score, and Kaleb Simpkins returned a Colson Brown interception for a score to make it 13-0.
Brown hit Amarri Wilcher for a 43-yard touchdown pass with 5:43 remaining, but the Yellow Jackets couldn't come away with the win.
Strom Thurmond (3-2) hosts Batesburg-Leesville next week in its non-region finale, while North Augusta (1-5) visits South Aiken to open Region 4-AAAA play.
WAGENER-SALLEY 27, BLACKVILLE-HILDA 7
Wagener-Salley moved to 2-0 in Region 4-A play with a win over Blackville-Hilda.
The War Eagles (3-3, 2-0) visit Williston-Elko next week. The Fighting Hawks (0-5, 0-2) are at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler.

Ridge Spring-Monetta picked up its first win of the season by blanking Williston-Elko.
The Trojans (1-4, 1-0 Region 4-A) visit Denmark-Olar next week. The Blue Devils (0-5, 0-2) host Wagener-Salley.
MIDLAND VALLEY 48, SWANSEA 0
Midland Valley finished off its non-region schedule with a blowout win over Swansea.
The Mustangs (3-3) are off next week and host Airport on Oct. 7 for their Region 4-AAAA opener.

South Aiken wrapped up its non-region schedule with a tough loss at Clinton.
The T-Breds (1-5) host North Augusta next week to begin Region 4-AAAA play.

Fox Creek got into the win column on Homecoming with a big win over the Georgia School for Innovation and the Classics.
The Predators (1-4) host Silver Bluff next week in the Region 3-AA opener.
