Prep Boys Tennis Roundup: Brainerd clinches win over Willmar

May 7—WILLMAR — Facing one of the top teams in the Central Lakes Conference, Willmar took a shutout loss to the Warriors in Willmar.

"It was better than the first time," said Cardinals head boys tennis coach Forrest Rice, "but Brainerd's still tough."

The Warriors are now 7-1 in the Central Lakes while Willmar drops to 1-6 in conference play.

Willmar will be back at home Tuesday, hosting Sartell.
