TANK WILLIAMS: All right, Chris, we had some quarterbacks that got their first start whether it was the young boys, the rookies, getting their first start, period, or Kyle Allen getting his first start when the team wasn't resting their starters for the playoffs. And these dudes balled out, and then the internet lost their damn mind. So I want to know, from our resident quarterback, which one of these QBs has have the brightest future here. And I ranked them, but I want to see how you like my rankings now.

CHRIS SIMMS: OK.

TANK WILLIAMS: Starting off at number three, Kyle Allen, number two, Gardner Minshew, and, number one, Danny Dimes, Daniel Jones.

CHRIS SIMMS: OK, good. You got number one right. There's no doubt about that. I'm sold on that aspect right there, OK?

So I appreciate that Danny Dimes, DJNY, whatever you want to call him, he is number one. Why? Because I think we all saw it. You saw it, right?

TANK WILLIAMS: Yeah.

CHRIS SIMMS: I mean, the talent is there. You know, we all talked about, oh, he gave energy to the Giants' offense and blah, blah, blah. No, he gave like talent to the Giants offense. They could call plays down the field passing, aggressive. He was aggressive.

He could move in the pocket. He can make plays with his legs. He was fearless when the pocket collapsed around him. So I'm glad you went with Danny Dimes number one.

Now I don't disagree with you, oddly enough, about your number three and number two, all right?

TANK WILLIAMS: OK.

CHRIS SIMMS: I've might have gone Kyle Allen number two and Minshew number three, but I'm not--

TANK WILLIAMS: And now this is the reason-- let me tell you why I went Minshew--

CHRIS SIMMS: Go ahead.

TANK WILLIAMS: --number two.

CHRIS SIMMS: Yeah.

TANK WILLIAMS: Because we really haven't seen enough from these quarterbacks to be able determine if they're going to be good or not. So the only thing we're going off right now is hype. And Minshew has the mustache.

Kyle Allen was throwing the ball off his back foot looking like Brett Favre and all that stuff, but he was going against the Arizona Cardinals. Minshew was going against the Titans who are schizophrenic. They don't know who they want to be. So, until these players actually write the book, I mean, how are we supposed to review them?

CHRIS SIMMS: Well, I think that's right. I mean, really, the list is only Daniel Jones. You only put these two guys on there because we had to make a three-person list.

TANK WILLIAMS: And the only reason Daniel Jones--

CHRIS SIMMS: But I don't think they deserve--

TANK WILLIAMS: --is on the list is because he plays in New York. So, no matter what, he's going to get all the hype. He's going to be the brightest star--

CHRIS SIMMS: Well, yeah.

TANK WILLIAMS: --because of the media market.

CHRIS SIMMS: Well, he gets the hype, but you and I watched the game. And he was deserving--

TANK WILLIAMS: True.

CHRIS SIMMS: --of the number one title on your list.

TANK WILLIAMS: Even though he was playing--

CHRIS SIMMS: But I'm with you.

TANK WILLIAMS: --against the Bucks.

CHRIS SIMMS: Yeah, playing against the Bucks, but that's OK. I mean, they're not the worst defense in the world.

TANK WILLIAMS: True.

CHRIS SIMMS: They made Cam Newton look real average the week before. But the other two though, like you said, they're unproven commodities to this point. And I know Gardner Minshew. He's really cool looking. And he looks like he's a guitarist for a 1970s band, and that's really awesome.

And he's become an internet fad, but I would like to remind everybody like, since he started, it's two drives at the end of the game against the Houston Texans. And then, the Tennessee Titans Thursday game, I mean, it was a seven-yard touchdown pass, a one-play, seven-yard drive. I mean the Tennessee Titans--

TANK WILLIAMS: He did have some really good throws throughout that game though. And he was playing against a tough defense too.

CHRIS SIMMS: He did. He did solid. But, before we anoint him king of the universe, I'd like to see a little bit more. They're 5 for 24 on third downs since Gardner Minshew has taken over at quarterback, but I'm happy you went with Daniel Jones. We'll see about those other two. I'm not sure about them yet.

TANK WILLIAMS: And now one thing I have to say is, Gardner Minshew, he is that Dos Equis of the NFL. He is the most interesting man in the NFL by far. So, even if his talent doesn't get to where it needs to be, I mean just his personality and everything he does, especially with that mustache, is going to make him a star.

CHRIS SIMMS: Oh, and he wears short jorts, which, you know, people like that too.

TANK WILLIAMS: I don't even know what that is, but I love it.

[LAUGHTER]

CHRIS SIMMS: You know, jean shorts, jorts, like those real-- you've got to check that picture out when he was at Washington State on Saturday night. They were a little too short for me.

TANK WILLIAMS: Hey, I don't want any parts of that, dog.
