Power outage temporarily disrupts Oklahoma-Kansas game

A campus-wide power outage at the University of Kansas on Saturday affected the Jayhawks' game against No. 2 Oklahoma as the scoreboard and lights suddenly went out during the first quarter at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in Lawrence.

The school tweeted that an electrical company was working on the issue, and it was quickly resolved.

The Jayhawks used the short time during the outage to get their Big-12-low scoring offense in gear on the team's first drive.

Kansas went on to finish the nine-minute, 80-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run by Devin Neal to take an early 7-0 lead.
