Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson revealed she has tied the knot with Will Owen.

The 30-year-old actor, who played Demelza in the BBC historical drama, took to social media to unveil several sweet snaps from her wedding day alongside her rugby player husband.

Tomlinson opted for an elegant off-the-shoulder wedding dress and a simple veil for her big day which was held at the stunning Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds.

She finished her look off with a pair of gem-encrusted Christian Louboutin heels.

In the images which Tomlinson shared with her 236,000 Instagram followers, the actor tenderly kissed her husband Owen before posing in her gown.

“When a Miss becomes a Mrs,” Tomlinson wrote.

“I love you. The best weekend of our lives. The biggest thank you to all our family and friends and of course to you, @pronovias , @euridge_ and @debeersofficial.”

In a second post, the new bride revealed several close-ups that featured her jewellery and makeup as she prepared for her wedding.

Reflecting upon her romantic weekend, Tomlinson explained to Harper’s Bazaar that it was emotional to see all of her friends and family as she prepared to walk down the aisle.

She told the publication: “I think having some experience of red carpets and the world of fashion did help my nerves certainly.

“Although saying that, when you first arrive at the aisle and you look out and see the faces of friends and family that you love looking back at you, it all goes out the window and the bottom lip starts to tremble… And then, boy do those happy tears come.”

Tomlinson starred in Poldark alongside Aidan Turner until the final season of the West Country-based drama in 2019.

She has since gone on to appear in Sky’s series Intergalactic and The War of the Worlds.
