ORLANDO–As the Philadelphia 76ers continued their battle with the Orlando Magic on the road on Sunday evening, they took another blow in the injury department. They were already down three starters, but now they have lost another one.

PJ Tucker, who suffered an ankle injury in Friday’s win over the Magic, did not begin the second half out on the floor. Danuel House Jr. replaced him in the lineup and after some time, the Sixers announced that Tucker will not return due to the left ankle soreness.

He will leave with a rebound and an assist and he was a plus-13 in his 15:48 of playing time. His defense against Magic big man Paolo Banchero was essential in helping Philadelphia build a big lead.

Philadelphia did lead by 22 at the half as the Magic are having trouble against the veteran Sixers team so it makes sense as to why Tucker would be held out.
