Pine Grove Boy Scout attains Eagle Scout rank

May 10—Hunter Legarht, of Pine Grove, Boy Scout Troop 611, celebrated his Eagle Scout Court of Honor with friends and family at Pine Grove Hose, Hook and Ladder Sunday afternoon.

Legarht constructed a pavilion and barbecue pit at Pine Grove Hose, Hook and Ladder for the company to use for their chicken barbecues. Despite being installed in November of last year, the barbecue pit has already been used three times.

Pins were presented to Legarht, Legarht's parents, grandparents, and scoutmaster.

State Rep. Joe Kerwin, R-125, Lykens, and Schuylkill County Commissioner Gary J. Hess spoke and each presented Legarht with citations.
