Yahoo News 'Pimlico pusher' accused of shoving pensioner in front of oncoming bus appears in court
A mother-of-two has appeared in court accused of pushing a pensioner into the path of an oncoming bus.
Amelia Doris, 39, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent over the attack, which was caught on CCTV in May last year.
In the footage, a woman with a small child is seen shoving another woman into the path an oncoming bus in London before making off on foot. The attack led to the alleged attacked being dubbed “the Pimlico Pusher”.
Minutes before the attack, the victim had been barged following a row outside a Tesco Express.
She was left with bruises and grazes to her ankles, shins, and knees, as well as a cut head and an injured shoulder.
Doris appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday. She also faces another charge of racially aggravated assault on a woman in her 60s.

Doris, from Westminster, spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth, address, and nationality as British.
She is accused of attacked the victim on Vauxhall Bridge Road in Pimlico, central London on May 29, 2018.
Doris, of Horseferry Road, Westminster, did not enter a plea and the case was adjourned until later this month.
