Pike Road freshman Anthony Rogers picks up offer from Alabama football
Pike Road freshman Anthony Rogers received a scholarship offer from Alabama football, he posted on Twitter Saturday.

Rogers, a 5-foot-8, 180-pound athlete, has 11 offers per his 247Sports page, including Auburn, Georgia, Oregon, Penn State and Texas A&M.
While Rogers has not received a star rating on any recruiting sites, the Maxpreps Freshman All-American is considered to be one of the top prospects in the Class of 2025.
Rogers, a Montgomery Advertiser first-team All-Metro and second-team all-state selection, totaled 2,171 all-purpose yards and 30 touchdowns, including 1,139 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 114 carries. He also caught 15 passes for 401 yards and six scores and averaged 42.1 yards per kickoff return.

In the Class 5A state championship game against Pleasant Grove, Rogers helped lead Pike Road to a 51-14 win with 252 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns.
