These stunning aerial images could be mistaken for abstract masterpieces. But upon closer look, these impressive photos show the captivating salt flats of Western Australia. Taken by photographer Kevin Krautgartner, 30, the series of aerial images shows the captivating landscape of the salt flats and the different colors of each salt pond. Krautgartner said: “Presumably due to my graphic background, landscapes that have geometric shapes are fascinating to me. Straight lines, parallels and synchronisms are extremely exciting. In addition, there are the strong colors and sometimes very abstract gradients.” (Caters News)
