This Phoenix pizza maker will star in 'Chef's Table: Pizza'

Riding high after his second James Beard Award and the opening of his trendy new Los Angeles pizzeria, which was already named one of the top 10 new pizzerias in LA, Netflix just teased the news that Chris Bianco will star in his own episode of "Chef's Table Pizza."

The highly-acclaimed Netflix series posted about the new season on Instagram on Aug. 19, and tagged Bianco in the Instagram story. The caption reads: "From Portland to Phoenix, Italy to Japan, go inside the kitchens of chefs whose creativity elevates this ordinary dish to an art form via their unique flavors, inspiring backgrounds, and passion for creating the perfect slice."

With six seasons under its belt, the Emmy nominated show is a who's who of the culinary world, focusing on the world's greatest innovators like Massimo Bottura, Dominique Crenn and Enrique Olvera. Each 45-minute episode delves into a particular chef's psyche and highlights their craft through artful videos of their food, accompanied by dramatic classical music. The popular show also has a host of spinoffs including "Chef's Table BBQ," and "Chef's Table France."  And now, "Chef's Table Pizza."
