The NFC East is wide open, so which team in this matchup will grab the outside line on the division crown?

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles travel to face Carson Wentz's Washington Commanders in a pivotal Week 3 matchup. Can Hurts, A.J. Brown and the Eagles offense muster enough to breach the Washington defense, or will Wentz, Curtis Samuel and the Commanders come out on top? The game is scheduled to kick off Sunday at 1 p.m. ET from FedEx Field.

Here's a look at the betting details and USA TODAY's NFL staff picks for the Eagles vs. Commanders Week 3 game:

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 26, Commanders 20

Philadelphia is the better team and should win this game. But after their Monday night performance, I think the Eagles are being overvalued slightly here and I also think that Washington’s familiarity with them in the division keeps this closer than the line indicates.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) celebrates a touchdown against the Vikings during the first quarter at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sept. 19.

Safid Deen: Eagles 24, Commanders 17

Jalen Hurts is in full command of the Eagles' offense, and it’s a sight to see for Philadelphia fans. Hurts has been masterful in his first two games, and he’ll lead the Eagles to a pivotal NFC East win over Carson Wentz and the Commanders this week. Philadelphia’s defense, which shut down the Vikings last week, gives them the edge over Washington in this one.

Lance Pugmire: Eagles 28, Commanders 20

Jalen Hurts has quieted the skeptics by elevating his game and here's a divisional opportunity to prove the strides are consistent. Without establishing its running game yet, Washington is left to bank on ex-Eagle Carson Wentz to out-do Hurts.

Jarrett Bell: Eagles 28, Commanders 24

Nate Davis: Eagles 30, Commanders 24

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 30, Commanders 21
