Could a post from Beyoncé at the Golden Globes in fact be an encrypted code worthy of the Secret Service?
Perhaps. Perhaps not.
But fans of the singer are now convinced, due to her choice of beverage at the annual awards show, that she's going to adorn the new Bond movie, No Time To Die, with its anthem.
She's seen in a picture posted to Instagram leaning over to sip at a Martini, olives floating in the booze.
The Martini is, of course, James Bond's tipple of choice, the vodka kind, shaken not stirred, despite connoisseurs more likely to opt for gin, and stirred rather than shaken (shaking a Martini makes it cloudy).

All this notwithstanding, Beyoncé fans are convinced that this is a sign.
Beyoncé has been hinting at James Bond since her 2018 Coachella set when she sampled the theme tune during Don't Hurt Yourself pic.twitter.com/m18j8X9ONn— EDGES KINKY (@beeeysus) January 9, 2020
What makes me think Beyoncé is really doing the James Bond soundtrack is that it’s less than three months before the movie yet we still don’t know who are singing the songs.— INTO THE UNKNOOOOOOOOOOWN (@beeyonceknight) January 9, 2020
She has foreshadowed projects with pictures before, in one post in a close-up clinch with a lemon, which came prior to her long-awaited 2016 album Lemonade.
I think she's gonna be in James Bond project. Martini is his signature drink. https://t.co/QSDdijX7ck— ✨ Δslı (@AsliYonce) January 9, 2020
She’s not gonna get away with it this time... BEYONCÉ JAMES BOND THEME CONFIRMED. pic.twitter.com/3cRZSWcs04— GARRY (@GarrySlay) January 9, 2020
Whether this is the same deal remains to be seen.
But with No Time To Die ready to land shortly, it's likely that we'll hear soon who is set to follow Sam Smith (who sang Writing's On The Wall for Spectre) in providing Bond with a new theme.

It’s also noted that, with the dominance of Bond themes at the Oscars (both Smith and Adele with Skyfall won for Best Song), Beyoncé could even be gunning for an EGOT, scoring an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony. She’s only got Grammys to her name so far though.
Singing The James Bond theme song is pretty much the cheat code for an Oscar...Beyonce “EGOT” Knowles-Carter on you peasants.— A Murder Podcast (@AffirmativeMur1) January 9, 2020
It’s worth mentioning that No Time To Die wouldn’t be the first spy film Beyoncé has provided a song for: who could forget Work It Out from Austin Powers In Goldmember, or Independent Woman from 2000’s Charlie’s Angels, performed as part of Destiny’s Child.
Starring Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Léa Seydoux and Christoph Waltz joined by Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas, it lands on 2 April.
