If you've been following this man's career, like me, you'll know that every now and then he graces our TV screens in a role that begs the question, "How in the world could a person be this dreamy?"

You might remember him as the daddy of the seven Sand Snakes, Prince Oberyn Martell — a smooth-talking, bisexual spear fighter in Game of Thrones.

Maybe you remember his handsome portrayal of American DEA agent Javier Peña who went to extreme measures to investigate Pablo Escobar and the Medellín drug cartel in Narcos.

Or perhaps you caught a glimpse of the rugged man behind the mask — the surrogate daddy to the adorable Grogu, aka "Baby Yoda" in The Mandalorian.

I'm counting the days until the new season premieres on March 1 on Disney Plus.

But if you're a lifetime fan, like me, then maybe you remember a young Pedro playing Greg, a feisty twenty-something in MTV's after-hours show that I had absolutely no business watching, Undressed (1999).

I doubt anyone remembers this. It was the precursor to Skins and Euphoria.

Now, the 47-year-old actor is back in his daddy-for-hire bag as Joel in HBO's The Last of Us, based on the video game of the same name.

But, as I made clear, while I don't forget any Pedro Pascal TV appearance, it appears the man himself had a hilarious (and brief) memory lapse when he forgot he landed his biggest role to date.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Pedro told a funny anecdote about when he first landed his role in The Last of Us.

While he was "in London and everyone else was in Los Angeles," he received the scripts for the show. "[He] was told 'Craig Mazin [the showrunner] wants you to read these scripts and if you like them, he'd like to talk to you.'"

"I loved Chernobyl, the miniseries he showran for HBO, it was unbelievable. Anyway, I read the first script and I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wanna meet him,'" Pedro confessed.

He said the call went great, and "they fell in love."

There was already a huge time difference, and then he was then asked to stay up a little later to talk to Neil Druckmann, the creator of the video game, and he agreed.

This call also went well, and he added "they all fell in love" again.

Now, it was incredibly late, and he had to get up early in the morning, so he took a sleeping pill to help him pass out. But it was too late. Literally. Pedro says, "I get a call, and I get told that I got the job after I took the Ambien, and so I was excited, I guess, but I didn't remember."

"I woke up in the morning and the first thing that occurred to me was, 'awww man, I really want that job. I'm in London, they're in LA. I'm going to wait by the phone all day long. This hasn't happened in awhile. I'm going to be thinking about this all day."

But then, Pedro looked at his phone and noticed all the "congratulations" and "we're so happy for you" messages from his team. That's when he finally remembered, "Oh yeah, I got the job!"

Bless your heart, Pedro. If you ever forget any roles in the future, call me. I thoroughly studied your filmography.
