The list of former Mets for this year's Old Timers' Day is growing and will now include a Hall of Fame pitcher.

Pedro Martinez has been confirmed for this summer's festivities. This will be the first time the right-hander puts on a Mets uniform in 14 years.

While mostly known for his time with the Montreal Expos and Boston Red Sox, Martinez joined the Mets in 2005. In four seasons, he pitched to a 32-23 record with a 3.88 ERA in 79 starts.

Mets Old Timers' Day is set for Aug. 27, prior the their game against the Colorado Rockies, and has more than 40 players scheduled to attend including Frank Thomas, Ron Swoboda, Jon Matlack, Felix Millán, Mookie Wilson, Howard Johnson, Bobby Ojeda, Robin Ventura, Turk Wendell, Endy Chávez, Cliff Floyd, Daniel Murphy, Mike Piazza, Billy Wagner, Howard Johnson, Bartolo Colon and Yoenis Cespedes.

This will be the first Mets Old Timers' Day since 1994.
