Mar. 8—MASURY, Ohio — Etta Schell received a different kind of gift Sunday evening, as a parade dozens of vehicles long passed by 8246 Lorain St. in Masury — sometimes punctuated by the voices of children calling out "Happy birthday, grandma!" from inside the cars.

Celebrating Etta's 90th birthday, the parade included vehicles from the Brookfield police and fire departments. A Brookfield police officer kicked off the event by presenting with a sash and bouquet of flowers.

A parade dozens of vehicles long, some with decorations, passed by 8246 Lorain St., in Masury, Ohio, to celebrate local resident Etta Schell's 90th birthday Sunday evening, including vehicles from the Brookfield police and fire departments.

The majority of the parade was comprised of Etta's family and friends, from vehicles adorned with decorations saying "Happy birthday" to an Elvis-themed trailer.

Etta's daughter, Shelly McLaughlin, said her mother was born on March 8, 1931. Etta's son, Lance Shell, said his mother has 107 descendants, which were featured on a series of posters that were among the birthday decorations placed outside the house.
