Damson Idris, who stars in new Netflix movie Outside the Wire alongside Anthony Mackie, has shared a brand new trailer for season four of Snowfall ahead of its return next month.
Snowfall – which is available on BBC iPlayer in the UK – tells the story of the first crack epidemic in 1980s Los Angeles while exploring its impact on the city and its people.
Following a pause in production due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Snowfall's latest season is now almost upon us, so Idris has dropped the above sneak peek on Instagram, showing us what's in store for 20-year-old drug dealer Franklin Saint.
Snowfall's dramatic season three teased redemption for Franklin, after he sought out federal officer Reed Thompson, but Idris recently told Complex that fans can expect to see "the same old" when it returns.

"With regards to what you could expect this season, the same old, man," the actor explained. "This is a show that's speaking of a time that's so important to American history and American culture and has so many correlations to what we're seeing today in the present tense.
"The after-effects of what crack has done to not only African Americans, but Black people globally."
Hinting at this season's arc for Franklin, Damson added that the "war on drugs is hitting very heavy".

"He's dealing with inner and outer conflict, he's dealing with trying to juggle the legality of his real estate business and running a drug empire," he revealed.
"I'm sure you saw from that little teaser, but Franklin is very vulnerable and less sure of himself compared to previous seasons. I can't wait for everyone to see it!"
Snowfall airs on FX in the US. Seasons 1-3 are available to watch in the UK on BBC iPlayer. Outside the Wire is available to watch now on Netflix.
